The Film Festival will be held from May 15 to 18

Advance ticket sales will be available from May 10 and all you have to do is register on the event’s official website, except for those over 60 and under 14 years of age.

The Film Festival will celebrate its twentieth edition from May 15 to 18with tickets at a reduced price of 3.50 euros, announced this Thursday the federation of Spanish cinemas, FECE, promoter of the initiative together with Fedicine distributors.

The advance sale will be available from May 10 -both online and at the box office- and to participate, as usual, you must register in advance on the Film Festival website, except for those over 60 and under 14 years of age.

This event to encourage attendance at movie theaters as a social and cultural habit was held for the first time in June 2009 and from 2011 it became biannual, only interrupted by the pandemic.

The last edition, last October, registered 1.3 million viewers in four days, 82.2% more than a year agothe first post-pandemic, which had 704,927 attendees in three days.

On this occasion, the Film Festival will coincide with premieres such as ‘Guardians of the Galaxy: Volume 3‘; ‘The lost king’, by Stephen Frears; the western ‘The bounty hunter’, with Christoph Waltz and Willem Dafoe; and Spanish films like ‘Fatum’, ‘Asedio’, the comedy ‘¡Vaya vacaciones!’ and ‘20,000 species of bees’.
