The social media company Twitter has ceased to exist. The company merged into a technology billionaire Elon Musk’s owned by X Corporation and continues as a service under it. An online publication reported on the matter Slate.

United States Judiciary found online according to the documents the merger of the companies took place already on April 4. Slate could not reach Twitter for comment on the incident because Twitter’s media email automatically responds to inquiries with poop emojis. Musk, who owns both Twitter and X Corporation, has also not issued a public statement about the incident.
After Musk bought the service, Twitter has been in the headlines a lot for its financial problems and mass layoffs. Musk recently announced that he would make “radical changes” to the company and that he would distribute X Corporation shares worth just under $20 billion to Twitter employees.
