Interim office completely destroyed after car hits facade

The accident happened at the intersection of the Tempelstraat and the Progress Street in Ypres. There the man drove into an apartment building, in Randstad’s interim office. Because it is Easter Monday, the office was fortunately closed.

Under the influence of drugs

The office was completely destroyed, but the fire brigade quickly arrived to prop up the building and close the facade. The driver, a 34-year-old man from Ypres, was taken to Jan-Yperman Hospital for a check-up with minor injuries. Investigations showed that the driver was under the influence of drugs at the time of the accident. His driver’s license was revoked for fifteen days.
