Stella Bergsma received a thousand euros at a time for her performances in Today Inside. The writer has been there twice and then actually wanted to ask for a higher salary.
After visiting Today Inside twice, the men decided not to invite Stella Bergsma anymore. The reason? Not enough chemistry. Since she is no longer on the guest list, she complains bitterly, along with other women who have been shown the door, such as Yesim Candan. Together they now want to start their own ladies VI.
Thousand euros
Stella responds Show news on the news. There she confirms that she regrets that Johan Derksen no longer wants her. “I’ve been there twice. I liked it. Why would I want to go back? It also pays well!”
What did she get for her performances at Today Inside? “A thousand euros at a time. I think the gentlemen themselves get much, much, much more, but I thought it paid well. I thought: if I were asked again now, I would ask for more money. Then I ask for bullying allowance or something.”
Angry ladies
Unfortunately for Stella, she was never able to ask for a higher salary because she was never invited again. The chance that there will be a ladies VI is also nil, according to critics. “I don’t know if you think it will be a success, but I honestly don’t think so,” says Shownieuws expert Bart Ettekoven.
Bart doesn’t believe in it. “These ladies are also a bit angry ladies. They are always angry because they are not invited. If you start shouting every time that you are not invited, it will come across as angry and disappointed. If you know that those men don’t want you sitting there, why do you keep begging for a seat at the table?”
In despair
Patty Brard finds it very desperate. “Once they have made it clear how they feel about you, then you shouldn’t regret not being invited anymore, should you? Then, for God’s sake, go your own way.”
Colleague Natacha Harlequin: “Let’s turn it around, shall we? Like everyone wants to sit there. It just seems like the world upside down now.”
Doesn’t she want to sit there? “No. Look: I’ve been there. I didn’t watch VI either, did I? I went there for a purpose and then spoke to them directly. Then it’s done too. Whatever they say about me, I won’t say anything at all. This is how it is, it’s totally fine. I have no ambition or desire at all.”
Angela critical
Angela de Jong, the opinion diva of the AD, is not at all waiting for this initiative from Stella and Yesim. “The two female opinion makers are so caught on their v * gina that they are no longer allowed to join Today Inside and have to let them know at all times,” she writes in her column.
She roars: “Now they think they are entitled to their own female version. And then also with Soundos ‘I can shout loudly and I’m Moroccan so I’m funny’ El Ahmadi. Do you have a plate in front of your head or a complete wall of reinforced concrete?”
And if that ladies VI does come? “Then I will consider another job!”
