Salewa celebrates reopening in Bolzano

The Italian outdoor outfitter Salewa has completely renovated its store at the company headquarters in the South Tyrolean metropolis of Bozen (Bolzano). Since the recent reopening, the company, which is part of the Oberalp Group, has also been offering its “Salewa Circular Experience” service concept there.

“The program includes the offers Repair Service, Second Life and Rental Service, which are integrated for the first time in the new Salewa Store Bozen,” Salewa explained in a statement. The concept focuses on “a durable design as well as upcycling and recycling” and documents “the move away from the old ‘take, make, throw away’ towards a holistic circular economy,” emphasized the company.

In the Bolzano store, whose redesign was conceived by the British design agency Gpstudio, customers now have three options for contributing to greater sustainability: They can have items repaired or rent them there and also buy used products.
