Hundreds of foreign-language young people may be waiting for a school until September

Hundreds of foreign-language young people are waiting at home or in a reception center for a place at school to learn Dutch. This is evident from a survey of the VRT editors in the central cities. Most will not be able to start until September. Secondary schools have already created many extra places: last month no less than half more students were enrolled than a year ago. Yet more and more young people end up on a waiting list.
