“Anyone who thought that the Easter Dive would have a meager turnout this year will be disappointed,” said Surfers Paradise water sports club. A lot of people were there to take a dip in the water together. With a water temperature of around 7 degrees and a wind chill of around 5 degrees, it was the coldest edition ever.
About 100 participants showed up to brave the cold water. The Royal Swimming Club de Brugse Polar Bear Circle provided a large delegation of swimmers.
PRE WORKOUT
Before diving into the cold water, the divers could participate in a yoga session. This way they could warm up the body a bit.
Afterwards everyone was surprised by the Easter bunny with Easter eggs and a hot drink
