Susú, how do you carry out your profession as a lawyer in the entrepreneurial world?

I am a lawyer graduated from the UBA. The first years I dedicated myself to labor law and in parallel to the pastry shop.

Immersed as an entrepreneur, from my bakery, I began to notice how much information was missing about Law. I came across entrepreneurs who did not know about the need to register their trademarks to have rights over it and over those that each one has over their works (texts, photos, designs, illustrations, etc.) even though they are published on the internet, nor about the benefits of using contracts to regulate the business relationships they carry out every day.

Law provides us with many tools to prevent conflicts and many others to defend ourselves against them. However, the lack of knowledge about these tools makes them often ineffective.

Getting into that world of business and intellectual property was a one-way trip. A journey that led me to discover my purpose, which is undoubtedly to accompany women in the development of their businesses and help them empower and protect themselves and their enterprises.

What services do you provide as a professional?

I am dedicated to intellectual property, which includes industrial property (trademarks, models and industrial designs and patents) and copyrights. In turn, to commercial contracts.

Much of what I do is related to the protection of the intangible assets of a business, that is, those assets that do not occupy a physical space, that cannot be perceived with the senses, such as trademarks, copyright, know-how, among others. However, they can have a high economic value in themselves and it is essential to protect them.

The star service of my studio is trademark registration. But we also provide the service of registration of model and industrial design and copyright.

In addition, we provide the à la carte contract drafting service: commercial contracts; such as terms and conditions and privacy policies, contracts with suppliers or customers, contracts to regulate commercial exchange relations, such as between two brands or a brand and an influencer, etc.

We also provide legal consulting service to advise and provide information on the Law, applying it to the specific case.

What challenges do you have ahead?

My goals for the future are to continue with the work of positioning myself as a leading Lawyer in the field of intellectual property and to continue consolidating my Firm and the work team that accompanies me.

All this, at the national level, but also, to continue weaving networks to reach Latin American countries and Spain, and to be able to help entrepreneurs from there to protect their intangible assets in our country.
