Lotte Kopecky won the Flanders Women, 157km with start and finish in Oudenaarde. The Belgian of SD Worx, already winner of last year’s Ronde, managed to impose herself by detachment after having made the difference with 18 km to go to the detriment of our Silvia Persisco (Uae-ADQ), the last in fact to surrender to the 27-year-old capable of excelling on the track as well and even earlier in the past at Strade Bianche. Double win for SD Worx thanks to Demi Vollering’s second place. Italy on the podium thanks to the third place of Elisa Longo Borghini, fourth Silvia Persico.
