A fire started in a terraced house on the Schieland street in Assen tonight. An airfryer containing bitterballen was the cause.
The air fryer caught fire during heating and began to smoke. The fire was extinguished by an alarmed neighbour.
The fire service carried out a follow-up check and ventilated the house. No one was injured.
