Serious accident in Lichtenberg!
At the crossing Alt-Friedrichsfelde/Rhinstraße / Am Tierpark – the so-called Europe crossing in Friedrichsfelde – there was a serious accident early Thursday evening. Three vehicles were involved.
According to initial findings, three people were injured, one seriously. A rescue helicopter was also deployed. The injured were given first aid on site by paramedics and emergency doctors and then transported to hospitals.

The fire brigade recovered the heavily damaged vehicles, which caused material damage of an unknown amount. The police are investigating the cause of the accident. Tram traffic was disrupted for at least an hour.
