The police arrested a 26-year-old man from Geldrop on Sunday morning on suspicion of involvement in a fatal fight in Maassluis. A 42-year-old resident of that municipality was killed. The suspect reported to a police station in Eindhoven, the police write on Twitter.
In the night from Friday to Saturday there was around half past two in the old center of Maassluis in South Holland a brawl between two men. The victim was seriously injured and died in hospital later that night.
Police are still investigating what exactly happened and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
