In the new series Renki, Eero Ritala plays a tax official whose life changes. It all starts when he decides not to pay his taxes for a few small jobs.
Eero Ritalan, Joonas Saartamon and Crete Salminen The new series Renki starred in is a fascinating drama-comedy about the transformation of a male model.
At the center of the series is Petri, a 40-year-old tax official played by Jussi awardee Eero Ritala, who hires an assistant played by Joonas Saartamo and finds himself competing for his family’s love.
– It was great to build a comedic role about the explosion of the beta male’s mental pressure cooker. Renki creates perhaps a completely new genre for Finnish television; Nordic com-noir, Ritala states in the announcement of the series.
Others in central roles can be seen, among other things Ylermi Rajamaa, Miitta Sorvali, Martti Suosalo, Chike Ohanwe, Jenni Kokander, Riku Nieminen and Mimosa Willamo.
