It was stated that whether the Italian Super Cup format will be in the form of a single final or a four-final in the following seasons will be decided according to the international match calendar.
The management also accepted the offer of Saudi Arabia, which would like to host the finals in 4 of the next 6 seasons. Accordingly, in 2024 and 2025, the Italian Super Cup will be hosted by Saudi Arabia.
The Italian Super Cup, which will be held elsewhere in 2026 and 2027, will be played again in Saudi Arabia in 2028 and 2029.
Since the 1988-1989 season, when it was played for the first time, the Italian Super Cup has been played between the Serie A champion and the Italian Cup winner, or if a team wins these two cups in the same season, it has been played between that team and the Italian Cup finalist.
The Italian Super Cup final was previously played in countries such as Libya, China, USA, Qatar, Saudi Arabia apart from Italy.
