Director Lukas Dhont and his company have left for the champagne-coloured carpet of the Oscars. A limousine picked them up at their hotel. There, the director of ‘Close’ had some words of encouragement for his team. “Whatever happens, we will shine,” says Dhont. Within a few hours we will know whether the film ‘Close’ will win the Oscar for ‘best foreign film’.
