The US sporting goods supplier Nike Inc. announced personnel changes in the management floor on Tuesday. Accordingly, two group veterans receive new areas of responsibility.
As of March 13, Amy Montagne will be responsible for the company’s women’s products as the new Vice President and General Manager Women’s. She succeeds Whitney Malkiel, who will leave Nike. Montagne has been with the Group for 18 years, most recently as Vice President and General Manager, APLA, responsible for the sporting goods company’s Asia Pacific and Latin America operations.
Montagne’s previous position has also been filled internally: Cathy Sparks, who currently holds the position of Vice President, Nike Direct, EMEA, will be responsible for the APLA region. Sparks also has a lot of experience in the group. She has been with Nike for 25 years and has held various leadership roles during that time.
