Plays in reserve
Atlético Madrid have extended the contract with Giuliano Simeone (19), which originally expired next summer. As the club reported, coach Diego Simeone’s son signed a working paper valid until 2025. The attacker has been at the club for around two and a half years, where he has only been used in the youth team and is currently in the reserve.
The Argentine has been on the bench five times this season without appearing as a substitute. Giuliano could be the first of three sons to be deployed under his father’s stewardship. While Giuliano is active in Madrid, his brothers Giovanni Simeone (26) play for Hellas Verona and Gianluca Simeone (23) for CD Ibiza.
