John Mayer canceled his Los Angeles concert yesterday to make sure a fan was okay. The woman appeared to have passed out and needed medical attention, US media reported.
The singer was in the middle of his song Slow Dancing in a Burning Room when he discovered that something was wrong. He immediately stopped the music and asked if she was conscious. The crowd then quickly made way for medical personnel. The woman was treated at the scene and taken away in a wheelchair. Mayer and his band then left the stage for a few minutes. When he heard she was okay again, he continued playing.
Mayer isn’t the first to look at his fans with extra care this week. Billie Eilish stopped a concert on Sunday to help a visitor who appeared to be gasping for breath.
According to The Hollywood Reporter Artists have become more aware of the well-being of their fans since the Astroworld festival that killed ten people last November. They came under oppression. At the time, other visitors called on Travis Scott to stop his performance, but he continued.
