The Adana Demirspor coach experienced the devastation of the earthquake firsthand: “We are raising funds to provide housing and education for those who have nothing left”
Such a big heart. It is that of Vincenzo Montella, who is experiencing firsthand the drama of millions of people in that part of Turkey devastated by the earthquake of last February 6th. The former Aeroplanino, now coach of Adana Demirspor, saw the devastation, the pain, the material damage and the terrible consequences of the earthquake with his own eyes. There are the dead. And who is left to mourn them. But that now he must also find a way to survive, to go beyond mourning.
Helping those who have lost everything in a concrete way is therefore the objective of the “Vincenzo Montella Emergency”, a solidarity project launched by the former Giallorossi. To participate with a free donation to the project, just connect to the site sosturchia.com. A humanitarian initiative personally wanted by Montella with the aim of helping and supporting people in difficult situations. Vme’s primary objective is to offer help to the people of Adana, one of the cities hardest hit by the recent earthquake that devastated part of Turkey and Syria, causing more than forty thousand deaths and tens of thousands injured.

The first two objectives of the “Sos Turkey” fundraiser are to build prefabricated houses, to provide accommodation for those who have lost their homes, and to guarantee a study path for the numerous orphaned children. “I feel very close to the population that is in enormous emotional, physical and economic difficulty. Through the ‘Sos Turkey’ channel, without intermediaries and other costs, funds can flow to be used in full. I guarantee in my name that all this will happen in full honesty, I hope that many will accept this appeal”.
