Morrissey has released details of another new album. Titled Without Music The World Dies, it was recorded at La Fabrique Studios in St-Remy, France, and produced by longtime partner Joe Chiccarelli. There’s even a tracklist. It reads as follows.

1. ‘The Night Pop Dropped’
2. ‘Zoom Zoom The Little Boy’
3. ‘Boulevard’
4. ‘Headache’
5. ‘Without Music the World Dies’
6. ‘Suspicious Minds’
7. ‘Notre Dame’
8. ‘Many Icebergs Ago’
9. ‘Happy New Tears’
10. ‘The Monsters of Pig Alley’

Songwriter Jesse Tobias is cited as co-writer, who describes Morrissey’s new album as a “lightning strike” on his website. It concludes Morrissey’s announcement: “Capitol Records Los Angeles recently terminated their contract with Morrissey, therefore if any record label or private investor has interest in releasing this project, please contact Donnie Knutson.” That project refers to Morrissey’s album “Bonfire Of Teenagers”. According to Morrissey, this was finished months ago. But Capitol Records is keeping it under wraps, calling the act sabotage. The planned cooperation has ended and accordingly he does not know whether this record will or can ever be released. The musician already overwrote a previous statement about this cause with “RIP Bonfire Of Teenagers”. With “Rebels Without Applause” a single has been released from it so far. Miley Cyrus, who provided vocals on a song for the album, withdrew the same a few weeks ago. This had nothing to do with Morrissey’s right-wing populism, which he was accused of.
