Very menacing White Lion Yahya Boussakou has to work on his return

Time and time again, Yahya Boussakou flew past Young PSV players over the right side, only the right cross was missing. The fast flank player of Telstar was very disappointed after the draw against the Eindhoven talents. “We should have just kept the three points here.”

“There was much more to it”, Boussakou is confident about the 1-1 against Jong PSV afterwards. “This is sour, because we had to take more distance in the first half.” Telstar already took the lead in the third minute through David Min, but gave it away shortly after the break. The Velseners had plenty of chances, but this did not yield any hits.

The facial expression on trainer Mike Snoei spoke volumes. Telstar’s coach was particularly disappointed by the missed header opportunities. “We have to bring the gallows back to life.” Something that Ozgur Aktas and Koen Blommestijn can count on.

Snoei was partly positive about his pupil Boussakou. The coach agreed with his threat on the right side, but there was a lack of good crosses. “I think that’s such a shame, because we’re busy day and night there. So our friend has to work on his return.”

Amateur base

“I mainly look at myself and indeed the cross has to be better”, Boussakou is critical of the camera. The fast wing defender came over from ADO Den Haag last transfer-free. And is currently playing on an amateur basis in Velsen-Zuid. “We are talking to each other.”

The statistics must therefore be better at Boussakou. After thirteen matches, Boussakou has zero hits and two assists. Next week there will be new opportunities again. Then Telstar will visit number two Heracles in Almelo.
