Turkish referee Halil Umut Meler, who has a FIFA license, will manage the UEFA Europa League play-off match to be played on Thursday, February 16 between the Netherlands’ Ajax and Germany’s Union Berlin teams.
According to the statement made by the Turkish Football Federation, Mustafa Emre Eyisoy and Cevdet Kömürcüoğlu will be the assistants of Meler in the match, which will start at 20.45 at the Johan Cruyff Stadium in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The fourth referee of the match will be Arda Kardeşler.
Abdulkadir Bitigen will play as VAR and Mete Kalkavan will play as AVAR in the match.
