In Altınordu, one of the Spor Toto 1st League teams, the technical committee and the players participated in the aid campaign launched for the earthquake victims. The team, which brought aid materials to the Sait Altınordu Facilities in Yeşilyurt, also helped to pack the aid materials collected there. In addition to Altınordu Technical Director Gökhan Ünal, football players Ali Emre Yanar, Ahmet Dereli, Ali Dere, Volkan Fındıklı, Emircan Gürlük and Gökberk Efe participated in the campaign.
Stating that our country is going through a difficult process, coach Gökhan Ünal and the players said, “We all need to be in unity and solidarity in this process. We also came to support the aid campaign started by our club. Our country will come out of this difficult process as soon as possible.”
On the other hand, Iğdırspor Coach Erkan Sözeri, whose son received football training in Altınordu, voluntarily took part in the aid campaign of the red-dark blue team.
BEAUTIFUL NEWS FROM KAHRAMANMARAS
Sad news came to Altınordu from Kahramanmaraş, the epicenter of the earthquake disaster on 6 February. Red-dark blue people said, “We have learned that Kahramanmaraş Football School Head Coach Etem Tambay and his family lost their lives in the earthquake. As a result of the earthquake disaster in our country, we received sad news from Tambay and his family. As Altınordu Football Club, all those who lost their lives in the earthquake, especially Tambay’s family. We wish God’s mercy on our citizens and condolences to their fans.”
CHAMPIONSHIP KITS ON SALE
The jersey signed by all team players in the 2002-2003 season, when Altınordu was promoted from the Amateur League to the 3rd League, was put on sale. Erman Tügezim, one of the former players who got promoted to the A team after graduating from the infrastructure, conveyed the championship jersey in his collection to Sait Altınordu Facilities for the benefit of earthquake victims. While the championship jersey was offered for sale for 15 thousand TL, it was reported that the income to be obtained will be transferred to the earthquake victims.
