The US military has shot down an unidentified object over Lake Huron on the border with Canada. The object fell into the lake and there are no indications of additional damage, US media report. It is the fourth time in a short time that the Americans have intercepted ‘flying objects’ in US and Canadian airspace. According to a senior government official, the object did not pose a “military threat”.
