At Hertha BSC, in view of several injuries, the system issue is more important than at the beginning of the season.
“It wouldn’t be the first time we’ve played with a back three, it’s an option,” said Hertha coach Sandro Schwarz on Friday before the home game against Borussia Mönchengladbach on Sunday (3:30 p.m. / DAZN).
For the 44-year-old, however, the question of mentality plays a more important role than the question of the game system: “It’s not important what we play, but how we play.”
