A total of 29 people, including three hoteliers from la Axarquía, have been arrested in various parts of the province of Malaga in an operation against large-scale marijuana production and money laundering. As reported by the National Police, the investigation has made it possible to dismantle seven large crops and intervene 7,000 plants of cannabis, 120 kilos of buds, another 17 kilos of hashish, seven firearms, more than 92,000 euros in cash and five vehicles.
The operation has spread to Vélez-Málaga, Algarrobo, Arenas, Almogía and Villanueva de la Concepción, the latter in the Antequera region
The patrimonial investigation, for its part, has supposed the preventive seizure of 21 motor vehicles, 16 properties and 40 bank accounts linked to the suspects.
