Telstar and Cas Dijkstra have said goodbye to each other. The midfielder’s contract has been terminated in consultation between the two parties. The 21-year-old Dijkstra immediately found a new club in Koninklijke HFC.
Dijkstra came over from the amateurs of Hollandia in 2019 and played a total of 62 competition matches in the outfit of the White Lions. The Alkmaar-born footballer scored six goals in this. He made his debut for the first team in February 2020, in the away match at FC Volendam.
This season, Dijkstra played just 48 minutes in the first team under new trainer Mike Snoei. In the home games against ADO Den Haag and PEC Zwolle, Dijkstra was allowed to fill in.
