After a chemical liquid was found in a ditch on the Nieuwe Maatrichtsebaan in Gilze earlier in the afternoon yesterday, a specialized company started sucking up the liquid. The contaminated soil is also excavated. Around half past seven, a boa reported that six thousand liters of chemical liquid, probably mixed with water, had been sucked up. An excavator has already excavated more than ten cubic meters of contaminated soil.
