Musician Rita Behm tells Aki Linnanahte in her podcast how her spouse’s public image upsets her.
Musician Rita Behm and a writer Miki Liukkonen have been together for about two years. They got engaged in the spring of 2022. Neither of them knew each other when they first met.
The couple met when a magazine wanted a story in which Liukkonen would interview Behm.
– I refused when there was no music coming from him, Behm says on the Aki Linnanahde talk show.

However, they went for coffee, and Liukkonen fell head over heels in love, Behm warmed up a little slower.
Behm says directly that Liukkonen’s public image is upsetting.
– When he was younger, he was quite sharp and shared his opinions. He has had a colorful history. Miki is a victim of his own, self-inflicted media image. People don’t realize how talented he is. His talent has fallen below the character. Many see him as a provocative character who has no filter.
Behm describes Miki as a calm, kind and talented person.
– He is a fantastic writer, I look up to him terribly. I love people who dedicate themselves to art. Miki is disciplined, he just writes and I get in the way, Behm smiles.
Behm reveals in interviews with Linnanahte that the couple lived together for a while, but today they both have their own apartments. The program does not clarify the reason for the couple’s current living arrangements, and Linnanahde does not ask follow-up questions on the subject.

Behm made his breakthrough in 2019 Hi dear – song, but even before that he sang in Pikku G’s comeback song Solmu.
– I had started making music then. I had made a publishing deal with M-Eazy Music. One weekend I wrote a song like this.
The song was somewhat different from what it eventually became.
It was suggested to Behm that the song could be Pikku G’s comeback song. Behm himself hadn’t thought of the song as a rap song and he was taken aback by the request.
Behm agreed to the request.
– I didn’t realize I was excited. I wonder who is singing here.
It occurred to Behm that maybe Sanni would sing the chorus. However, Behm ended up singing the chorus himself when asked.
In the final version of the song Solmussa, Behm has written the chorus and the Little G rap parts. Behm performs the original version at concerts, but it has not been published anywhere.
He has received Teosto payments as the author of the song, the situation is different when it comes to singing.
– I don’t know if this will be said, but I have not received royalties from this song, even though I sing in it.
– I haven’t made a fuss about it. I’m not bitter and this has nothing to do with Henkka (Little G). The record company should take care of such things. “They haven’t handled it, and this label is my beloved label Warner,” Behm laughs.
