Christmas tree burning in Izegem receives a lot of criticism

The city decided to still organize the Christmas tree burning because it is a tradition that brings people from the city together. The fire brigade coordinates the event so that everything runs safely. They keep an eye on the fire and keep everyone at a safe distance. Yet there is also a lot of criticism, especially via social media.
