Dutch village of Cadzand is emptying: “Even ancient inhabitants think: what am I still doing here?”

Cadzand, the Dutch village just across the border with our country and a well-known tourist destination for Belgians, is emptying. Last year, 48 residents left the West Zeeland-Flemish coastal village behind. Residents hardly notice it. “Even the natives of Cadzand think: ‘what am I still doing here?’”
