German bonds hardly changed

FRANKFURT (dpa-AFX) – German government bonds started the last trading day of the year on Friday with little price movement. In the morning, the trend-setting futures contract Euro-Bund-Future fell slightly by 0.08 percent to 134.05 points. The yield on ten-year Bunds was 2.45 percent.

Shortly before the end of the year, only a few economic data are on the program that investors could use as a guide and market observers spoke of a comparatively low trading volume. Data on the mood of purchasing managers in the USA are not expected until the afternoon, which could cause some movement on the German bond market./jkr/jha/
