Who are the favourites?
The big question here is which athlete is most likely to take on American Mikaela Shiffrin. The 27-year-old has been in excellent shape on the Zauberberg so far and was able to win both giant slaloms from the previous days. In addition to Wendy Holdener from Switzerland, Petra Vlhová from Slovakia should be mentioned first and foremost, who has already been on the podium in three slaloms this winter. Austria’s Katharina Liensberger and Anna Swenn-Larsson from Sweden also think they have a chance.

Of course, the 29-year-old is again one of the favorites to win the day. Michelle Gisin (13) and Camille Rast (21) should also make it into the final without any problems. In the last part of the home World Cup, the team of the Austrian Ski Association wants to be at the forefront again. Katharina Liensberger (start number 4) and Katharina Truppe (9) have the required skills and, considering the starting order, have every opportunity to do so. The German Ski Association is sending a total of five athletes into today’s race.
