“Nevertheless, representatives of the European Union have so far almost obsequiously courted Vucic. This policy of appeasement has led to his escalating further. It is therefore time for a policy change: Western actors should clearly call on the Serbian head of state to stop the provocations and Serbia’s aspirations to become a great power and to control the flow of money and weapons from Russia. In addition, the EU should condition the allocation of money to Serbia more and finally understand that Vucic does not want to join the EU.”/yyzz/DP/he
