Man who pulled alarm gun at Christmas market remains in custody
On Sunday evening he became involved in a discussion at the winter chalets at the roller skating rink on the Markt in Waregem. He left briefly but came back with the alarm pistol and fired one shot. Investigations have yet to show where he aimed the weapon, but in any case, the court takes the facts seriously. He was arrested for assault and battery, threat with a weapon and prohibited carrying of weapons.
