Hurricane and Southside Festival 2026: You can read all information about headliners, directions, camping tickets and the current weather warning here.

It’s that time again. On the third weekend in June, the German festival republic is divided into two camps: north or south. The Hurricane on Eichenring in Scheeßel, the Southside on the grounds of the Take-off GewerbePark in Neuhausen ob Eck.

The line-up

The headliners are identical at both locations: Florence + The Machine, Kraftklub and Twenty One Pilots are at the top of the billboard.

Behind them is a wide range: Yungblud, The Offspring, Papa Roach, Billy Talent, Halsey, Provinz, Roy Bianco & Die Abbrunzati Boys, Donots, Bosse, Sondaschule, A Day To Remember, Empire Of The Sun, Clueso, BHZ, Skindred, Pennywise, Grandson, The Beaches, Royel Otis, Drunken Masters and many more. A total of over 80 acts were recently confirmed for Hurricane alone.

The subtle difference lies in the details: the main acts are identical, only individual regional acts and the warm-up parties differ.

Warm-Up Hurricane (Thursday): Disarstar, July, Paula Carolina, men’s magazine, Hansegirl.

Warm-Up Southside (Thu.): Moop Mama, Majan, Mola, Hi! Spencer, Brass Palace.

Tips

Important in advance: Camping is not included in the festival pass. If you want to stay overnight, you need a camping ticket in addition to the festival ticket. Upgrades to quieter, cleaner areas and the trailer park cost extra. There are also particularly sustainable campsites, and groups can reserve their claim in advance so as not to camp separately. Also good to know: From this year onwards, a cashless payment system will be in effect at the stands at Hurricane for the first time.

Weather

The weather will be summery at both festivals – almost a little too summery: As temperatures rise, the German Weather Service warns of a low probability of strong thunderstorms in the north and northwest of Germany. There will be possible hail and heavy rain on Friday. However, the situation is still very uncertain and is by no means expected. The Hurricane Festival in the north is particularly affected by potential storms.

Why, after decades of highs and lows, is Iggy Pop now revered and loved like never before? Our cover story about the “Godfather of Punk” provides the answer. The issue exclusively includes a vinyl single with live versions of “The Passenger” and “Lust For Life”, recorded during the 2023 concert at the Montreux Jazz Festival.
