In the European Parliament in Brussels, a house search took place last night in the office of an assistant of the Belgian MEP Marie Arena (PS). Marie Arena confirms this to Belga. The house search is part of an investigation by the Belgian federal prosecutor’s office into corruption within the European institution by a Gulf state.
