Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier has gained another well-known tenant. As the project developer Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW) announced, the US sporting goods retailer Foot Locker Inc. will also be represented with a flagship store in the shopping center, which is still under construction. The retail chain will implement “a modern concept in a retail environment geared towards experiences” on a rental area of more than 560 square meters, explained URW. The opening of the Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier is currently planned for spring 2024.
Well-known retailers such as Intersport, H&M, Breuninger, Zara, Mango and JD Sports had already been presented as future tenants. Anna Laura Riemann, who as Portfolio Leasing Manager at URW is responsible for leasing in Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier, welcomed the latest addition: “The Foot Locker flagship store will be one of the highlights in the important sneaker, sports and streetwear trend segment in Westfield Hamburg -Überseequartier, which is developing into the nationwide top address for retailers who want to offer flagship formats and special brand experiences,” she explained in a statement.
