ROTTERDAM – For the time being, the Rotterdam Eye Hospital has “a very quiet night” during the turn of the year. Ophthalmologist Tjeerd de Faber says that around 1.30 am he has to treat one patient who was injured by fireworks, “where in other years, except last year, there would be about ten patients at this time.”
