There will be 6 sprint races in the 2023 Formula 1 World Championship.
According to the statement made on the organization’s website, the number of sprint races held for the first time in the 2021 season will increase from 3 to 6 next year.
In the Azerbaijan, Austria, Belgium, Qatar, USA and Brazil grand prix, qualifying tours will be held on the first day of the weekend, and the sprint race will be held on the second day.
Pilots who are in the top 8 in sprint races earn points from 8 to 1. Drivers start Sunday’s race from pocket where they are placed based on their sprint rank.
