St Nicholas reads a strange message in the newspaper on Monday. In a barn fire in Sappemeer, the police find a man who was not supposed to be there. “Who was that man? An accidental burglar? Did he set the fire?” Sinterklaas wonders.
He is counting on the police for the answer. “They are going to find out.” But the news continues to fascinate Saint Nicholas. “How did that go. They see someone standing and they knock on the window?
