“This has been an annoying place on Terschelling for a long time, it has been deteriorating for so long,” says Haarlem real estate developer Erwin Miedema. “In all my conversations with islanders, the municipality and Staatsbosbeheer, I noticed that everyone agrees that something had to be done here.”
