The municipality will talk to local residents about the future of the panna field in Venhuizen

The municipality of Drechterland will discuss the future of the field with local residents of the panna field. In August it became clear that the playing field will be moved to a different location because local residents regularly experienced nuisance.

Because it is not yet clear exactly what nuisance the field causes, relocation is difficult. The municipality is now trying to map out the nuisance and is talking to the police and residents around the field. The residents are invited for a personal meeting in which they can share exactly what nuisance they experience.

A residents’ evening will follow on 15 December at which the results will be discussed. The council then makes a new proposal to the council. In any case, the field will be moved before May next year.

There is much to do around the panna field. NH News previously made the report below about the ‘soap’ around the playing field.
