Database: The data are based on surveys by the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis). The average amount of the Christmas bonus and the number of beneficiaries for various sectors were calculated for 2022. The data evaluation is based on the collective wage, salary and remuneration agreements, which are also used to calculate the collective bargaining indices. Due to a change in the inclusion of collective agreements, the results are not comparable with those before 2021. Any annual special payments for the months of November and December were added to the Christmas bonus. Status is 16.11.2022
