Rosco Pasapalabra | Antena 3, sentenced to stop broadcasting ‘El Rosco’ from ‘Pasapalabra’

The court of section 15 of the Provincial Court of Barcelona has condemned the group Atresmedia to cease the broadcast of the programPass word’ with space ‘The Donut’ following a lawsuit filed by the Dutch company MC&F Broadcasting Production and Distribution CV in front of the companies Atresmedia and ITV.

In said lawsuit, the communication group demanded that the intellectual property of the ‘El Rosco’ format be recognized, that its broadcast be prohibited and that it be indemnified for damages and prejudices.

The Court of Barcelona concludes in its resolution that the creators of ‘El Rosco’ were Challenge Luigi Pianta and René Mauricio Loeb, who assigned their rights to MC&F. The Court considers that MC&F gave permission in 1998 to the Italian company einstein to include ‘El Rosco’ in the ‘Passaparola’ contest created on the basis of ITV’s license to Einstein over a second game known as ‘The Alphabet Game‘.
