The cosmetics giant Estée Lauder is buying Tom Ford’s fashion house for 2.8 billion dollars (about 2.7 billion euros), the American group announced last night. This is the largest acquisition ever for Estée Lauder. With this, Estée Lauder seems to be taking its first steps towards becoming a luxury goods group.
