At least twelve current or former Belgian honorary consuls have been publicly accused of wrongdoing or have been involved in controversy. This has emerged from a new investigation by the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ), in which ‘Knack’, ‘De Tijd’ and ‘Le Soir’ participated for our country.
