The outdoor brand Camel Active has further expanded its branch network. In the past few weeks, two new mono-brand stores have opened in Lüneburg and Kiel and the existing shops in Trier and Flensburg have been “completely converted to the latest shopfitting concept,” the company said on Monday. The label now has 38 stores in Germany. Across Europe, the number of monobrand stores grew to 106.
The clothing group Bültel Group, which holds the master license for Camel Active, operates the store in Flensburg itself, according to the company. The other three stores, however, are run by partners.
Thomas Schilling, who as Camel Active Head of Retail Operations is responsible for the label’s monobrand stores, explained the expansion strategy: “The new openings and long-term cooperation with our existing partners show that we are both a desirable brand and a successful model of cooperation developed with our partners,” he said in a statement. “We will continue to expand with stores and see great potential in tourist locations and holiday regions throughout Germany.”
