Where trends are made – 20 years of evolution

For 20 years, Anita Tillmann, Jörg Arntz and their team have stood for the most important trends and the future of the fashion industry. This has made the Premium the NO.1 industry get-together in Europe and this is to take place from 17th to 19th January 2023 will be celebrated with a large birthday edition. The B2B events Premium and Seek, a Fashiontech Area, as well as an extended version of the sustainability format Conscious Club will again take place together on the grounds of Messe Berlin parallel to Berlin Fashion Week.

In addition to shorter walking distances, improved orientation and optimized segmentation of the exhibitors, visitors can also look forward to compact and content-rich content formats and many surprises – free drinks included! These are challenging times and the industry must come together now to jointly develop strong strategies for the future – now more than ever!

In January 2003, the first Premium was launched in the subway tunnel at Potsdamer Platz with the aim of revolutionizing fashion fairs and establishing Berlin as a fashion city in the long term. This goal has been successfully achieved within the last 20 years. The Premium Group initiated the very first Fashion Week in Germany and, as a pioneer, brought topics such as sustainability and digitization to the fore early on. Even today, the Premium Group is the only organizer in Europe that combines womenswear, menswear, footwear and accessories in one place over three days. Big personalities such as Katharine Hamnett, Imran Amed (Business of Fashion), David Fischer (Highsnobiety), Michael Kliger (Mytheresa), David Schneider (Zalando), Holger Blecker (Breuninger), André Maeder (KaDeWe) and other fashion professionals have already taken part of premium group events. Many successful brands have started their launch at Premium, from Scandinavian greats like Ganni and Filippa K to the international denim elite.

If you don’t come to Berlin in January, you’re missing out!

For the 20th anniversary, visitors can look forward to the concentrated Premium Group Power. The focus is on the most important trends for retail, the latest developments in the field of sustainability and the emotionalisation of stores. The restart in July was successful and January will be even better. In addition to Premium and Seek, the Conscious Club will be significantly expanded. Nobody can avoid the topic of sustainability anymore and the Premium Group shows an extensive repertoire of different possibilities to position yourself more sustainably as a company. A new program will be put together in cooperation with Max Gilgenmann and Magdalena Schaffrin from studio MM04, who are known as established sustainability experts. Further highlights will be the next generation of stand presentations and brand activations at Seek as well as innovative retail pop-ups. In addition, there will be shorter walking distances and improved orientation on the exhibition grounds: the Premium is moving to the south entrance and occupying connected halls, compact, attractive and clear. After a consistently positive response, Seek will remain in Hall 9. The Style and Culture Festival The Ground will not take place again until next summer in a larger format. In addition, the segmentation of the exhibitors will be optimized for all formats.
