Resale platform Kidswear Collective opens first international store in Doha

The British online retailer for used designer and luxury children’s fashion, Kidswear Collective, has announced a partnership with Galeries Lafayette Doha – just in time for the soccer World Cup. This is the retailer’s first international location, which also has partnerships with Selfridges, Fenwick and Bicester Village in the UK.

The space in the Galeries Lafayette flagship store in Doha, Qatar is 40 square meters and is located in the children’s department. The Kidswear Collective selection offers second-hand designer fashion for children aged 0-14, including one-off pieces from brands such as Gucci, Fendi, Baby Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, Il Gufo, Burberry, Moncler and others, curated exclusively for the store and be updated regularly.

“Since our launch we have had incredible support from our clientele across the Middle East, so we are particularly proud to bring the Kidswear Collective concept to the region, especially with such a prestigious brand partner as Galeries Lafayette Doha. With the FIFA World Cup just around the corner, all eyes are on Doha and that makes it all the more exciting for us to partner with Galeries Lafayette Doha,” said Shoshana Kazab, founder of Kidswear Collective, in a statement.

“Children only wear their clothes for such a short time that it makes sense to resell them. With their experience in sourcing high quality, luxury garments and successfully launching resale in department stores, Kidswear Collective is the perfect partner for us. We have been interested in offering our customers used baby and children’s fashion for some time and are delighted to see this category evolving,” said Kevin Gerard Pender, General Manager, Galeries Lafayette Doha.
